This is a hands-on four week (one day a week) computer lab tutorial class. Open to all levels. Students must have laptop computer with Adobe Photoshop CS3 installed. This four week class covers: setting up Photoshop, creating your personal workspace, making and refining selections, image editing (rotating, cropping, resizing, density adjustment, color balance, minor retouching), adjustment layers and nondestructive editing, simple workflow. Class fee is $235 and includes a 16 page booklet and CD with example files for in-class exercises. Class size is limited.

Class 2
Tuesdays, 5:30-9pm, January 7, 14, 21, 28, 2009. $235

At the studio/home of Hal Gage

This is a hands-on four week (one day a week) computer lab tutorial class. Open to students that have completed Class 1 (see above). Students must have laptop computer with Adobe Photoshop CS3 installed. This second four week session covers: working with layers and masks, using channels, nondestructive image editing (dodging and burning, color balancing) working with RAW format digital photographs, B&W conversion, and stitching together images to make panoramas. Class fee is $235 and includes a 16 page booklet and CD with example files for in-class exercises. Class size is limited.

Hal Gage has been working with Photoshop for over 16 years and teaching photoshop classes for more than 10 years. Class size is limited to maintain personalized instruction.
