1. Create a folder on your hard drive or desk top and name it with your last name, first initial and "folios" ... (Example: BarrJfolios). Create two more folders with your last name and "folio" and a number ... (Example: barrfolio1 and barrfolio 2) and tuck them inside the first folder. These will be the destination folders for your two web galleries.

2. Captions for the photos are optional, but highly recommended. From the Photoshop "File" menu choose File Info>caption and type or paste the caption for each photo.

3. Put all photos you want in your gallery in another folder. Images in a gallery will display in alpha-numerical order and the filename will appear below each image. Re-name files, if necessary, so they will sort in the right order. The large preview images will be 450 pixels on the longest side, so you should start with image files that are close to that size.

4. In Photoshop, from the "File" menu choose Automate>web gallery and use these settings for Photoshop 7 ... a few of the options will be different in earlier versions.

Put your name on the top line. Add your business name or a few words of additional info, if you wish. On the preview pages the filename will also appear on the top line, so there isn't much room.
